Use and Future of Water Resources

Saving water helps to protect the environment. People and wildlife depend on water to live, but if we don't make efforts, to protect, conserve and restore the resource to its prime capacity, we may be putting all living beings at risk. By not wasting water, you are saving a large amount of habitat for fish and animals that depend on it extensively for existence. We should be clear in mind about few things to protect water resources efficiently. If we want to use water sustainably like the types of water resources we have, the quantity and quality of the water, and future consumption of these water resources. Saving water also saves energy. Lesser the amount of water you use, it brings down the resources and energy required to treat the water, move the water from the treatment plant to the Faucet, also it takes energy to heat the water. You also protect drinking water supplies. And plants for waste water treatment have to not put many resources and work if less water is going down the drain.

Conserving water also saves you money, if that isn't motivation enough. The water you are using be it coming from bottle bought at store or coming from tap at kitchen, it costs money. By using less water, you spend less money. The primary challenges in water management include environmental legislation, cost-effectiveness, and run ability. Efficient paper making process is possible when water management is optimized. Local governments have to enable restrictions on water usage by each household when drought strikes. By proactively reducing water consumption, increasing number of city reservoirs making community, especially in water scarce areas, more resilient in times of water scarcity. Efforts can be seen for fighting global warming in India which is partly responsible for water scarcity. To ensure that we stay prepared under every situation of water scarcity, it is necessary that we use water sustainably now and forever. Eco-friendly projects in India are a good example of step in right direction.
